ESIP Year Ten applications update

Applications to join ESIP Year Ten are open to existing ESIP Year Nine students only and must be completed by Thursday 23rd May 2013 at 1.00pm.

Prospectus

Personal Statement - please complete (ideally as a Word document rather than a scanned document) and email as per instructions below along with your project.

Parent reference - this must be completed by a parent and handed in to school

Teacher reference - the reference must be completed by a teacher and handed in to school by the student

Application form - this must be completed by the ESIP student and handed in to school

As stated in the prospectus, all Year Ten application materials MUST be submitted by 1pm, Thursday 23rd May 2013. Paper application material must be submitted to the ESIP lead in your school - Ms Smith, Ms Boyd or Ms Heath. Electronic material - your personal statement and your project - must be submitted by email to BOTH the Programme Leader (simon@esip.org.uk) and the ESIP Lead in your school and must have the subject line of the email as ESIP Year Ten Application Project. Applications which do not follow this criteria may be rejected.

Year 8 and 9 return on Saturday 15th June

The next ESIP session will be at Forest School at 9.30am on Saturday 15th June.

Year 8 will be studying Engineering.

Year 9 will be studying the Philosophy of Audacity.

ESIP Year 9 session on Sat 18th May 2013

Year 9 will return on Saturday 18th May to Forest School study the politics, philosophy and economics of education.

The next Year 8 session is Saturday 15th June.

ESIP returns on Sat 11th May

Year 8 and 9 will be back at ESIP on Saturday 11th May.

Year 8 will study Crafty Listening.

Year 9 will study The Biology of Human Machines.

Please note the rearranged Year 9 session will now take place on Saturday 18th May.
